This page of the Divinity Original Sin 2 guide contains tips on how to acquire five different parts of Braccus Rex's armor. We also list the unique stat bonuses obtained when using items from this set.
While you were doing Withermoore's Soul Jar you have probably noticed that there are items with a name of a character from the previous game - Braccus Rex. Even though the game doesn't have a set mechanic (as in, e.g. Diablo series), you can find equipment elements that change their effects when a character is equipped with certain items. This is the case with Braccus Rex set. You can collect 5 items (although there are more of them but you can learn about this later): Tyrant's Stride, Heart of the Tyrant, Corrupted Tyrant's Helm, The Hands of the Tyrant and Tracks of the Tyrant.

Tyrant's Stride
Location of Tyrant's Stride.
This item can be found inside of Ancient Passage - this place is visited during Withermoore's Soul Jar quest. In the west part of the room you can find one of the two statues (presented in the picture above). Select a character that has the highest Wits attribute and order it to interact with the statue. Then you must use all dialog lines. After that you can pick up the item from the ground.
Heart of the Tyrant
Location of the second item, Heart of the Tyrant.
The second item can be found in Madman's Enclave right after you have the second fight with Trompdoy. The item is in the treasury - where you can find soul jars, chests and gold piles.
Corrupted Tyrant's Helm
The helmet of Braccus Rex will come out from the shrine.
Braccus Rex's can be found in Decrepit Ruins - a small location which can be accessed near the place where you save Gareth (Most Dangerous When Cornered quest). When you enter the room, you simply have to cast Bless on the lever on the left, use it and enter another room. There, you just have to interact with Shrine of Braccus Rex (requires a Source Point) and after that you can pick up the item from the ground.
The Hands of the Tyrant

The gloves are located in Gargoyle's Maze Tower. The video above contains a detailed walkthrough for that place. Behind the force field you can find two sarcophaguses - interacting with the one on the right will make a poison to start leaking out. From the same sarcophagus, you can take The Hands of the Tyrant.
Tracks of the Tyrant
The last, fifth item, from the set is located in the tower on the beach in Fort Joy. The tower can be accessed by using Teleport ability or one of those that allow you to jump / teleport - Phoenix Dive, Cloak & Dagger, Tactical Retreat or Spread Your Wings. When you reach the tower, you simply have to search Lorenzo's corpse and take the item. You can watch the whole process in the video above.
Using the armor and a few interesting facts
When you equip any of the items, you can notice that it is enchanted - it inflicts a curse on a person that wears it reducing their speed of movement, inflicts Warm status etc. However, there is a simple way of removing that curse - you simply have to wear all 5 items that you have acquired recently. Together, they offer only bonus effects and the curses are gone - until you remove, at least, one of the items.
The "cleansed" helmet of Braccus is a good item for a warrior.
Here are some interesting facts about the items of Braccus Rex:
Spear of Braccus Rex, Ring of Braccus Rex and The Illuminator are his artifacts but they are not part of the set - you don't need them to remove the effects of the curse.
The helmet of Braccus. Corrupted Tyrant's Helm offers an additional ability - Purge (previously known as Source Vampirism). The helmet has only 3 charges and when you deplete them all an enemy, Krylr the Kettlegrinder, will "jump out" from it. When you defeat the enemy, you will be able to pick up a "cleansed" version of the helmet called Tyrant's Helm. It still has a curse (inflicts Warm) but it offers much better stats.
Use the Purge ability from the helm about five times ;) I remember while wearing the ring I wasn't suffering any penalties. It was when I took it off that the debug impacted my stats. Bless can remove the curse from you when you finally take it off.
Beneath the ruins where you save Gareth, there is an entrance to the Armoury of Braccus Rex.
Use Bless on the lever lift the curse, so you can open the door to the second room. You need to have source point to activate the monolith. ( if you don't have source point, interact with Source Fountain)
Find any one of these pieces of the set to begin the quest, then collect them all to finish. Find the Tyrant's Stride inside the Ancient Passage during Withermoore's Soul Jar. ...
Once the full set has been collected equip them all in order to not be afflicted by its curse.
4) Armor of Braccus Rex: Inside the Illusionist's Vault. 5) Gauntlets of Braccus Rex: Located in the building at the end of the Gargoyle Maze in the tomb with a lid that is "too heavy" to be lifted.
While doing the quest The Vault of Braccus Rex the player will come across the Band of Braccus during the second encounter with Trompdoy and his illusions. Put it on to continue the quest and it'll curse the player. The player can remove the ring, but the curse will remain until the player uses Bless on themselves.
Braccus Rex is an incredibly tough fight, and you'll need to be ready. Sell off any excess treasure and buy gear if it's available.You'll want to stock up on fire resistance gear, potions, and scrolls. Immunity to burning is important, but the actual fire resistance, to reduce fire damage, is more important.

You can get it by completing The Vault of Braccus Rex. Once you have Bless, simply use it on the lever to cleanse it. Make sure you have at least 1 Source Point and interact with the shrine. This will lead to you getting an item for the Artefacts of the Tyrant quest.
There isn't a set bonus whatsoever. The helm is still good by itself though, it only ''curses'' you with warm so it's effectively +water resistance (for -fire resistance). The ring is especially worse as there is no way to use it without the curse, as far as I or my internet searches tell.
The Inquisitor is arguably the best Divinity 2 class for close combat. It's a combination of the Cleric and the Fighter classes, with abilities themed around zealous retribution and enemy debuffs as well as good old melee attacks.
The Artefacts of the Tyrant is found early on in the game but is practically useless until each piece has been found. The pieces are actually cursed and inflict negative status effects on characters who wear them unless the full armor set is worn.
The Key to main door is on one of the necromancers. If you freed Withermoore in Withermoore's Soul Jar, he will help you lift the source barrier. To activate Withermoore, interact with the relic to the left of the source barrier with a character that has an empty Source point.
The leggings are found within a statue on the left side of the ancient passage in Fort Joy. To be able to obtain the leggings the party member interacting with the statue needs to have at least 15 Wits.
The Vault of Braccus Rex is one of the many Quests found in Divinity: Original Sin 2. The quest is found in the Fort Joy region. It's North-West of camp, on a beach that is protected by several large Crocodiles. They are level 3 and have a mix of ranged and melee abilities.
If you cast bless on a character, it'll buff. And für the cursed gear: only the full set will remove the curses. So keep some spare parts since when you switch on part of the set, you have to change all other pieces as well.
To be relieved of a Curse, you need to defeat a Champion or Boss, or offer a Cursed Weapon to the Gods. The game will then let you choose which of your active Curses you wish to get rid of, except when the Final Curse is active, in which case the Final Curse will be removed automatically instead.
