Mikaela Shiffrin continues to break records on the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup circuit, and - after she broke the overall wins record of Ingemar Stenmark – we take a look at her dominating career in numbers.

  • 17 global medals. Shiffrin has finished on the podium 17 times at the Olympic Games and World Championships, with two golds and a silver at the Olympic Winter Games and seven golds, four silvers, and three bronzes at World Championship events.
  • 6 consecutive World Championships winning gold (2013–2023). When Shiffrin won gold in the combined at the 2021 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, she became the first skier to win a gold medal at five straight World Championships. She had won four slalom world titles in a row from 2013 through 2019, making her the first athlete to do so in any discipline.
  • 96 World Cup wins. Shiffrin ranks first all-time, eight ahead of Stenmark (86), in FIS Alpine Ski World Cup career wins. The closest female is the retired Lindsey Vonn with 82.
  • 35.68 percent. Shiffrin's World Cup winning rate, from 269 starts.
  • 151 World Cup podiums. That includes 83 in slalom, the most in a single discipline by any skier, male or female. Stenmark had 81 career podiums in slalom.
  • 14 seasons. The American is taking part in her 14th season on the World Cup circuit, from 2010/11 through 2023/24.
  • 16 Globes. From her 13 seasons, Shiffrin has won five overall Crystal Globes and ten discipline titles (eight in slalom, two in giant slalom, one in super-G). Her 11 discipline globes lead all active skiers. Her eight slalom titles is an all-time record in one discipline.
  • 59 World Cup slalom wins. That ranks top for any skier, male or female, in one discipline.
  • 22 World Cup giant slalom wins. That is now two more than the previous women's record held by Vreni Schneider.
  • 6 World Cup slalom wins at Killington, from 6 starts. Last season (2022/23) was the first Shiffrin did not win the Killington slalom, having won every year from 2015 through 2019.
  • 7 World Cup slalom wins at Levi, also a record at that venue.
  • 7 World Cup wins (3 slalom, 4 giant slalom) at Semmering from 11 starts.
  • 17 victories. That's the FIS World Cup record for the most wins in one season, set by Shiffrin in 2018/19.
  • 1st skier. The USA skier is the only person, man or woman, to have won a race in each of the World Cup's six disciplines (downhill, super-G, slalom, giant slalom, combined, and parallel).
